How to Hard-Reset your HTC Pda Phone

HTC pda 电话的使用者无可避免的都会遇上‘当机’或不能执行某些功能的时候，一般上都可以用 soft-reset 来解决，但是有些时候当 soft-reset 不能发挥作用时，那你只好 Hard-Reset 了。Hard-Reset 前记得把所有的联络抄到你的 Sim 卡里，不然你将流失储藏在电话里的联络哦！
Hard-Reset 可以在 Windows Mobile 6 里进行，
点 “start”
点 “settings”
点 “System”
选 “Clear Storage”

Windows Mobile 6 会弹出一个窗口，要你键入 1234 来肯定你要进行 Hard-Reset.
Hard-Reset 过后，所有的软件都会被清洗，只剩下原厂机里的作业系统 Windows Mobile 6 和
Office Mobile。
HTC 的用户可要到 http://www.htc.com/ 的 E-Club 里下载附属软件，如 mapking, ce-star 等。

Windows Mobile 6 is a complicated operating system, believe it or not, most of the PDA handphone users will suffer from system-hang or some of the functions failed. When we encounter this kind of situation, we will first try to soft-reset the pda handphone. If soft-reset doesn't work, then you need to proceed to the most Dangerous-Critical action and time consuming process, Hard-Reset your pda-phone.
Remember to Copy all your contacts that saved in your pda phone into your Sim Card, else you will lost all of these contacts.
Here's the steps for Hard-Reset,
tap “start”
tap “settings”
tap “System”
Select “Clear Storage”

Windows Mobile 6 will prompt you a screen to confirm your action, you need to enter 1234 to proceed. After the Hard-Reset, all the software that previously installed will be frushed out and only the original Windows Mobile 6 and Office Mobile will be remained.
For HTC users, you can go to http://www.htc.com and download the additional software from thier E-Club.

HTC P3300 SDHC 设置 Setup

最近我的 HTC P3300 手机出了神经病，即不能发短讯，也不能和电脑联线。在毫无选择之下，只好 hard-reset 囖。 由于好几个月前换上了 4gb 的 sdhc 卡，hard-reset 过后，自然又要重新设置过了（HTC P3300 原厂机是不能兼容4gb 的 sdhc 卡）。之前也花了很多的时间才成功的启用到 4gb 的 sdhc 卡，现在又要重新去 google 再寻找设置法。
花了好几个小时的，读了许多的网页，下载了一大堆的软件，试了又试，最后终于成功的把我的 HTC P3300 设置上 4gb 的 sdhc 卡。
心想，也许网上还有很多的 HTC P3300 的朋友也面对一样的问题。 为了自己也为了大家，就一步一步的讲解如何为你的 HTC P3300 设置 4gb 的 sdhc 卡。

I have been spending few hours of time in searching the way for setting 4gb sdhc card into my HTC P3300. After reading many forums, with many tries, I have figured out the right process, and I would like to share with all of you now.

前准备
以下的步骤将需要用到 Resco Explorer (http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/explorer/). 如果你的 HTC P3300 还没有 Resco Explorer, 请务必先设置此软件，即使是共享软件也不用紧，我们只需用一次就够了。

Pre-Process
Please ensure you have Resco Explorer(http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/explorer/) installed into your HTC P3300 before you proceed the following steps. Even a shareware version will do, we just need to use it for once.

第一步
浏览到 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=344338
下载 以下的软件， 你需要注册一个用户哦！
1）SDHC_WM6WM5.zip
2）sdhcArtemis cab.zip

Step 1
Visit http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=344338
And download the following files. You need to register a login account.
1）SDHC_WM6WM5.zip
2）sdhcArtemis cab.zip

第二步
解压 SDHC_WM6WM5.zip
里面有以下的文件
1) SDHC.cab
2) sdbus.dll
3) sdmemory.dll
4) Certs.cab

Step 2
Unzip the SDHC_WM6WM5.zip
You will find the following files
1) SDHC.cab
2) sdbus.dll
3) sdmemory.dll
4) Certs.cab

第三步
把 SDHC.cab 抄到你的 HTC P3300, 然后进行设置（installation)

Step 3
Copy SDHC.cab into your HTC P3300 and install it.

第四步
开启 Resco Explorer,把 sdbus.dll, sdmemory.dll 抄到你的 HTC P3300 里的 \windows 文件夹里。由于这两个文件是储存在 ROM 里，原本的 File Explorer 是不能完成这步骤的。

Step 4
Open the Resco Explorer and copy sdbus.dll, sdmemory.dll into your HTC P3300 \windows folder. Due to the dlls reside in the ROM, the original File-Explorer will not be able to copy the files.

第五步
把 Certs.cab抄到你的 HTC P3300, 然后进行设置（installation)

Step 5
Copy Certs.cab into your HTC P3300 and install it.

好运的话，你的 HTS P3300 可能以经能够看到你的 sdhc 卡了。要不然，就继续以下步骤吧。
If you are luck, your HTC P3300 should be able to locate the sdhc card, else, continue.

第六步
解压 sdhcArtemis_cab.zip
里面有以下的文件
1) SDHC-Artemis.cab
2) SDHC-Artemis_back3original.cab
3) WM5torage_178BETA2.CAB

Step 6
Unzip sdhcArtemis_cab.zip
You will find the following files
1) SDHC-Artemis.cab
2) SDHC-Artemis_back3original.cab
3) WM5torage_178BETA2.CAB

第七步
把 SDHC-Artemis.cab 抄到你的 HTC P3300, 然后进行设置（installation)

Step 7
Copy SDHC-Artemis.cab into your HTC P3300 and install it.

大功告成！！
